It has finally happened! There is now a full paper magazine dedicated to electric bikes; Electric Bike Action. The magazine is being published by Hi Torque Publications who publish Motocross Action and Mountain Bike Action. This is another sign that e-bikes are now about to explode.
Electric Bike Action editor Zapata Espinoza had this to tell me about the new magazine:
“For the last few years we have watched the growth and evolution of the e-bike market as seen through the eyes of the European market. The prevailing question as always seemed to be, when in America? From Dirt Bike and Motocross Action Magazines in the 70’s to Mountain Bike Action in the 80’s, Hi-Torque publications has a history of jumping in before the bandwagon rolls into town. With domestic technology making exciting new in-roads, the publisher saw that clearly, America is ripe for an e-bike specific magazine to showcase a two-wheeled category that is about to go big.”
