Sleek monocoque frame

This bike frame is built for safety and style – it safeguards all of the electronics, including the battery, from the elements and protects from impact. No other electric bike offers this level of protection.

Hydraulic Disk Brakes

Disk brakes perform in any weather – wet, muddy conditions or hot, dry conditions. They stop equally well at the beginning and end of your ride with no “fading” in between like other types of brakes. Disk brakes are critical for your safety at whatever speed you’re traveling. And best of all – you only need to lift a finger to stop!

Kevlar Reinforced Schwalbe tires

Schwalbe brand tires with Kevlar reinforcement will keep you riding safely whatever the terrain, even broken glass. These tires retail for $65 each but since we care about your safety we include them in every Helia bike we make. They are the very best tires you can ride on.
Lowest center of gravity= best handling

The Helia has the lowest center of gravity of any women’s electric bike which means you have better balance for a safe, fun ride. We’ve included light wheels and have placed the Helia’s battery low and centered so you can have the best, most secure handling available in any electric bike. I LOVE my new bike. The red Rohloff and the hub and the headset- so beautiful. I am sorry, but that has got to be the prettiest bike ever! It is raining here- it figures…have not gone on a long ride yet- I cruised around our hood for a bit though…it is a lot smoother and has a nicer ride than the [other] red bike.  I just love it and am so happy.
