The Pioneer Allroad Limited is an upgraded Pioneer Allroad, upgrades include the Legendary 14 Speed Rohloff Rear Hub and High Performance 36mm Fox Front Forks. These are the same high performance components used on the Optibike R15.

The Limited is perfect for people buying their first electric bike, range can easily be extended with additional batteries which weigh only 5.5 pounds each.
This bike has every feature you could want in an electric bike. With the Rohloff 14 Speed Rear Hub and Motorized Bottom Bracket this bike can climb any hill with ease, and still go fast on the flats. The FOX 36 Float fork and aluminum frame absorb bumps and the large diameter disk brakes provide solid stopping power.
The Allroad has 2 methods of motor power control:
- Power on Demand Throttle
- Pedalec System where your pedaling activates the motor power.
You can use either of them at any time, each works independently so you can use the throttle only, pedal sensor only, or both together.

More power gives you a higher top speed, and lets you climb hills faster.
Battery Capacity
A bigger battery means you can ride farther, it's like the fuel tank on a car.
Torque
More torque lets you start from a dead stop easier, and lets you climb very steep hills.

A battery with more capacity generally means you can go farther on a charge.
However at maximum speed, a more powerful bike will also use more battery capacity per mile traveled.
Knobbier tires can also reduce range due to more rolling resistance on the road, and the terrain you ride on can also heavily affect the range you get.
A Note on E-Bike Range:
At Optibike our ranges are based on actual usage and testing, as well as feedback from our customers.
There is no standard for E-Bike range like there is from the EPA for Car Mileage, as a result an electric bicycle manufacturer can claim whatever they like for their range and top speed. At Optibike we try to present estimated ranges and speeds that are as close as possible to what you’ll actually get.
