It is hard to believe that the electric bicycle has been banned in New York City. They have been declared a menace to society! I do not understand the justification for the ban. If E bike riders break the law, they should be given tickets like any other driver. E bikes offer New York a great chance to reduce congestion in the city. Delivery drivers have been hit hard by the ban, as they use electric bikes to deliver meals. The electric bike saves them so much time and money over a car. Electric bikes make sense in New York. I hope they repeal the ban soon.
