Super Low 24″ Frame Standover
Featuring New Fit Freedom Frame Design
In speaking with potential customers over the last 12 years, 25% told us they found E-Bikes too large. They did not feel comfortable getting on or riding the bikes, and did not buy one. They ended up missing out on the great freedom and health advantages of E-Bikes.
We wanted everyone to be able to ride an E-Bike and decided to do something about it, so we invented the new “Fit Freedom” frame design.
The new Fit Freedom frame design allows the seat to drop very low, and you can adjust the seat height with a button press.
You can have the perfect fit for all riding conditions. Set the seat low for mounting and dismounting, and raise it for cruising down the road.
The bike also fits larger riders. You can order a dropper seat post with a travel of 5, 6, or 7 inches, making the bike a fit for riders from 4’11” to 6’1″.
Sturdy and compact, the Essex is easy to ride and instills confidence in the rider.
More power gives you a higher top speed, and lets you climb hills faster.
A bigger battery means you can ride farther, it's like the fuel tank on a car.
More torque lets you start from a stop easier, gets you over obstacles, and lets you climb very steep hills.
A more powerful bike will use more energy per mile. Knobbier tires can also reduce range due to more rolling resistance on the road, and the terrain you ride on can also heavily affect the range you get.
At Optibike our ranges are based on actual usage and testing, as well as feedback from our customers.
There is no standard for E-Bike range like there is from the EPA for car fuel economy, as a result an electric bicycle manufacturer can claim whatever they like for their range and top speed. At Optibike we try to present estimated ranges and speeds that are as close as possible to what you’ll actually get.
